Our long term good client MKB from Malmö visited Copenhagen with its 9 PAX leader group for a ½ day tour which included a POLYFORM office visit as well as the latest developments of the up and coming NORDHAVN neighbourhood.

The diversity of the majors of the 2 groups of each 10 PAX students from the University of Virginia really made the groups strong and fit for exploring sustainabillity within the Øresund Region.

I am really eager to see how the new perspectives found within this part of the world will accelerate their thinking on their own background!

BEHIND THE SCENES – was the focus of interest for the 21 PAX large group of architects and other interested from the Dutch group of Kras Snijpunt Architects of Rotterdam, NL.

Direct conversations and interviews with tenants living in case study houses was part of the explorations of the 'behind the scenes' tour.

Following the completion of the Gammel Hellerup High School multi-purpose hall designed by Bjarke Ingels Group in 2013, a new 1400 m2 building for cultural activities has been inaugurated by the school’s art and sports enthusiasts.

A temporary ART WALL GALLERY of contemporary art has arrived in the city, on the ever-changing wall murals along the 3 meter tall green wooden walls surrounding the constructions sites of the 18 new METRO stations of Copenhagen.

Limburg Real Estate Society (29 PAX) from the Maastricht Region had the Scaledenmark Power Point Presentation Copenhagen as Eco-metropole as a great way to kick off a full day of case studies and disussions of the similarities and differences of project development in our two small but great countries.

The amazing thing about living in Copenhagen it is easy to make a daytrip to Sweden.
With my 10 great DIS 4th year architecture students we did so in just an afternoon, visiting both Malmö + Lund and its 2 great KUNSHALLS by Swedish architect Klaes Anshelm as well as the New parish house in Lund by Swedish-Spanish architect Carmen Izquierdo - inaugurated in 2011 as the result of an open competition in 2004. All together a great afternoon!
