ÜBERBAU ACADEMY I A
08.11.2021We had the pleasure of welcoming a 17 PAX delegation from Vienna for a 4-days exploration of state-of-the-art projects in the Copenhagen area.
An introduction lecture `Copenhagen as Eco-metropole` and invitation to `Urban Partnerships at BLOXHUB kicked off the first day.
A full day of bicycle explorations of the Harbour Circle, Nordhavn and Ørestad was followed by visits to regional urban signature projects.
We are looking forward to welcome ÜBERBAU in the spring of 2022...

20.09.2021It was with great pleasure that we could welcome a group of 17 architects and engineers from Berlin for two tours - one tour exploring Ørestad by bike and one tour exploring Nordhavn on foot. The focus for both tours was Copenhagen's Public Private Partnership Model, visions of Co2 neutrality, plans for climate change adaption, and green mobility. We hope for much more collaboration between our two great cities in the future.

17.09.2021We have had great tours exploring Nordvest and Nørrebro this week with students from Kenyan College in Ohio. The first group on Monday was from Professor Rob Alexander's environmental science class and we explored Nordvest. On Wednesday, we explored Nørrebro where the focus was on space is communicated through the senses. These young and talented American students posed lots of great questions, came with great comments, and made the days enjoyable and interactive.

12.08.2021On August 5th, we had the pleasure of spending a wonderful day with 54 teachers from the Niels Brock International Gymnasium. We started the day with a talk on Copenhagen as Eco-Metropole, then enjoyed a vegetarian lunch at La Banchina on Refshaleøen. To end the day, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 hour harbour tour with blue water, blue skies and sunshine around us. Some of the locations we visited on the tour include: Biblioteket Rentemestervej, the Dortheavej Residence designed by BIG | Bjarke Ingels Group, Demokrati Garage and Farvemøllen. We ended the tour with great conversation and delicious food at Tribeca Pizza Lab.

23.04.2021Yesterday we enjoyed the kick off of the season with an EXPLORING NØRREBRO urban walking tour done in collaboration with BYGGESOCIETETET. The tour had a focus on public plazas and green space, large scale, micro as well as pocket parks in Copenhagens most densely populated neighborhood. The well attended 2-hour tour ended with networking, scharwarmas and local craft beer in a typical green and lush Nørrebro courtyard.
