Ûberbau visited for a 3-days exploration with an Austrian private group of 18 PAX

The new H. C. Andersen Museum in Odense was a top destination for the first day since group members where the proud providers of the timber construction for the museum designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The urban walk in the afternoon was framed by the new and extensive high-quality neighbourhood around the B. Thriges gade.

Our 2 bicycle tours under the theme Copenhagen - city of the future with a selected group of German professionals from the architect and design industry was a great success despite the typical April weather which brought everything from high sun and blue sky to `white` and ice cold winds!

The exploration of Ørestad focused on future oriented solutions with focus on circular economy, green mobility and social living whereas as the Nordhavn exploration had focus on dwelling...

We had the pleasure of welcoming delegates from the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to learn about sustainability, energy efficiency and renewable energies who were participating in an EU supported project.
Project executive organization is the Turkish MENR (Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources). Part of this project is the visit of best practice examples in Europe where Copenhagen had been suggested for a visit.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a 17 PAX delegation from Vienna for a 4-days exploration of state-of-the-art projects in the Copenhagen area.

An introduction lecture `Copenhagen as Eco-metropole` and invitation to `Urban Partnerships at BLOXHUB kicked off the first day.

A full day of bicycle explorations of the Harbour Circle, Nordhavn and Ørestad was followed by visits to regional urban signature projects.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a brave 6 PAX delegation from Freiburg in south-Germany for a 4-days exploration of state-of-the-art projects in the Copenhagen area.

A walking tour focusing of the area of Krøyers Plads of Copenhagen harbour kicked off the first day followed by a second day with visits to BLOX / BLOXHUB as well as the transformation of the former Carlsberg Brewery area.

Covering both the south harbour as well as NORDHAVN with a visit to COPENHILL in between in...

It was with great pleasure that we could welcome a group of 17 architects and engineers from Berlin for two tours - one tour exploring Ørestad by bike and one tour exploring Nordhavn on foot. The focus for both tours was Copenhagen's Public Private Partnership Model, visions of Co2 neutrality, plans for climate change adaption, and green mobility. We hope for much more collaboration between our two great cities in the future.  

We have had great tours exploring Nordvest and Nørrebro this week with students from Kenyan College in Ohio. The first group on Monday was from Professor Rob Alexander's environmental science class and we explored Nordvest. On Wednesday, we explored Nørrebro where the focus was on space is communicated through the senses.  These young and talented American students posed lots of great questions, came with great comments, and made the days enjoyable and interactive.
